Service Operator II – Cementing

About the role

We are seeking a Service Operator II – Cementing to join Halliburton’s oilfield service team. The role involves operating and monitoring cement pumping and mixing equipment on rigs, ensuring accurate cementing jobs, and supporting less‑experienced operators.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all cement pumping and mixing equipment, including blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition and Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems.
• Perform pre‑job calculations such as pipe capacities, volume/height, plug landing pressures, hydrostatic and differential pressures, and bulk cement blending requirements.
• Set up and run ADC software to monitor job data and mix cement slurries accurately.
• Download controller data and generate real‑time job reports using the designated computer system.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and forms related to cementing services.
• Train and guide Service Operator I and Operator Assistants on equipment operation and job procedures.
• Communicate pre‑job plans and on‑job progress to customers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Service Operator – Cementing I.
• Commercial driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to work on any rig within the work area and deploy as needed.
• Strong safety and environmental awareness, complying with HSE regulations.
• Pass a job‑related test or meet task guidelines.
