Service Operator II – Cementing

About the role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead within the global energy industry. As a Service Operator II – Cementing you will work on oil‑field rigs, operating and monitoring cementing equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cement pumping and mixing equipment, including blenders, liquid‑additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition and Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems.
• Perform pre‑job calculations for pipe capacities, plug pressures, water requirements, hydrostatic and differential pressures, and bulk cement blending.
• Set up and run ADC software to monitor job data and mix cement slurries accurately.
• Download controller data and generate real‑time job reports using the designated computer system.
• Complete all required documentation, reports and forms related to the cementing service.
• Train and guide less‑experienced operators and assistants on equipment use and safety procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Service Operator‑Cementing I.
• Valid licence to drive commercial equipment, if required.
• Ability to communicate effectively on rig sites and work safely in oil‑field environments.
• Willingness to be deployed to any rig within the work area.

Required skills

• Cement pumping and mixing equipment operation.
• Blenders, liquid‑additive metering, centrifugal pumps.
• Data acquisition and Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems.
• Bulk cement blending, delivery and storage systems, manfolding equipment.
• Cementing plug releasing tools and ADC software usage.
• Real‑time report generation and job data download.
