Service Operator II – Slickline

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Service Operator II to support slickline operations at well sites in Abu Dhabi. Working under the direct supervision of the Service Supervisor, you will help prepare equipment, execute jobs, and ensure safe, efficient service delivery for our global energy customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor throughout all phases of slickline service delivery.
• Prepare, assemble, test, and mobilize product and service equipment before each job.
• Verify that units, WPCE, and downhole tools are complete, correct, and ready for use.
• Complete all well‑site and post‑job paperwork accurately.
• Support post‑job demobilisation, clean‑up, and equipment repair.
• Identify third‑party activities that could impact slickline execution and communicate risks.
• Participate in HSE activities, including site assessments, risk analyses, safety meetings, and PPE documentation.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Basic mathematical, reading, writing, and computer skills.
• Willingness to develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform slickline services independently.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to Halliburton’s HSE standards.
