Shisha Attendant

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Shisha Attendant in Dubai. The role centres on preparing and serving shisha to high standards while delivering friendly, attentive service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve shisha according to hotel standards, ensuring quality, consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests in choosing shisha flavours, give recommendations and provide professional service.
• Maintain shisha throughout the guest experience, including charcoal replacement and adjustments.
• Clean, sanitise and maintain shisha equipment, accessories and preparation areas.
• Follow health, hygiene, fire safety and applicable UAE regulations for shisha preparation and service.
• Monitor stock of shisha tobacco, charcoal and other supplies, keeping them stored properly and minimising waste.
• Work with the Food & Beverage team to keep outlet operations smooth and handle guest requests.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Shisha Attendant in a hotel, restaurant, lounge or hospitality establishment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of shisha preparation, flavours, charcoal handling and equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of hygiene, sanitation and fire safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English; additional languages are an advantage.
