About the role

The Shopping Experience Representative supports the Info desk, greeting customers and providing friendly, professional assistance. The role handles returns and exchanges, oversees child safety in Smaland, follows cash‑handling procedures and aims to boost overall customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers, ensuring shopping tools and catalogues are available.
• Manage the Returns & Exchange desk, applying a quick and easy policy.
• Process returns, exchanges and cash transactions with 100 % accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports for trend analysis.
• Ensure child safety in Smaland, make announcements and page parents when needed.
• Book IKEA services such as Home Delivery, Assembly and Measurement, and follow up on out‑of‑stock items.
• Escalate complaints to the Duty Manager and report product faults or safety issues.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar customer‑service role.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
