Show Technology Team Leader

About the role

The Show Technology Team Leader will supervise daily maintenance of AVL systems across rides and attractions, ensuring reliable operation and safety. Reporting to the Show Technology Assistant Manager, the role provides technical leadership to senior technicians and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technicians during shifts, allocate work orders and prioritize tasks.
• Monitor ride uptime, respond to technical issues and escalate major faults.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance follows SOPs and maintenance plans.
• Verify work quality, close work orders in the CMMS and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting for show control, projection, audio, lighting, special effects, animatronics and AVL network systems.
• Support configuration, calibration, testing, installation and upgrade activities.
• Enforce safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks and manage PPE usage.
• Monitor spare‑parts consumption, maintain tools and report stock shortages.
• Assist in onboarding and technical training of new team members.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of AVL technical experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior technician or supervisory role.
• Experience working in ride or attraction AVL environments.
• Strong knowledge of ride‑integrated AVL systems and at least one professional show‑control platform.

Required skills

• AVL system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Show‑control platforms (e.g., MPC, Medialon, etc.).
• AVoIP and AV networking fundamentals.
• Fault diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting.
• Configuration, calibration and testing of AV equipment.
• Installation and upgrade of show‑technology components.
• Use of CMMS for work order management.
• Safety procedures and PPE compliance.
