Field Engineer – Large Sites (Resident)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to own the complete IT environment for large school or office sites in the UAE. You will act as the primary IT point of contact for site leadership, ensuring reliable service delivery and smooth operation of all technology assets.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end IT service delivery for the assigned site, including Windows Server infrastructure, backups, patching and troubleshooting.
• Manage the full device lifecycle, deployments, refresh projects and classroom AV technology.
• Provide first‑line network support, coordinate escalations, and maintain computer labs, imaging and examination configurations.
• Maintain IT assets, CMDB, spares and consumables; coordinate vendors and OEMs on site.
• Monitor SLAs, service volumes, risks and major incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT infrastructure/support experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; valid UAE driving licence and clean police clearance.
• Strong stakeholder‑facing and troubleshooting skills; education‑sector experience is a plus.

• Advanced Windows 10/11 administration.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP.
• Microsoft 365 – Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive & SharePoint.
• Networking – TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, Wi‑Fi and basic firewall concepts.
• SCCM, Intune, imaging & application packaging.
• Backup and restore platforms, AV and classroom technology.
• ITSM tools and service reporting.
