Show Technology Technician

About the role

The Show Technology Technician ensures the smooth operation of audio, visual and lighting (AVL) systems for rides and attractions at Miral Experiences Leisure Facilities. This role supports guest satisfaction by maintaining safety, functionality and appearance of all show technology assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks, start‑up and closing procedures, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AVL systems for all rides and attractions.
• Prepare AVL systems before park opening, respond to downtime issues, and minimize interruptions by following manufacturer‑specified maintenance schedules.
• Report safety or operational concerns to team leaders and submit preventive maintenance checklists on time.
• Interpret single‑line and rack elevation diagrams, test, label and organize cables, and assemble racks as required.
• Attend briefings, training sessions and development programs to stay current with show technology solutions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Communications or Computer Engineering with technical training.
• At least 1 year of experience maintaining AVL equipment in a theme‑park or hospitality environment.
• Physical fitness to lift 25 kg, work at height and rotate through night shifts.
• Clear spoken and written English, good hearing ability and colour identification skills.

• Projectors, QSC amplifiers, Dante audio networking, show control systems and show lighting.
• Media servers and IP network systems.
• Interpretation of single‑line diagrams and rack elevation schematics.
• Cable testing, labeling and rack assembly.
