SIRA Security Systems Engineer

About the role

The SIRA Security Systems Engineer will support Mirari Smart Technical Services in obtaining and maintaining the SIRA licence for security device installations. You will design, supervise, test and hand over integrated security solutions for a range of projects across Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain the company’s SIRA licence for security device installations.
• Prepare and review designs for CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm and integrated security systems.
• Create CAD drawings, camera layouts, coverage calculations, equipment schedules, schematics and technical submittals.
• Submit drawings through the SIRA portal and coordinate with SIRA, consultants, clients and authorities.
• Supervise installation teams to ensure compliance with approved drawings and site standards.
• Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system handover.
• Produce testing reports, as‑built drawings, operation manuals and project close‑out documents.
• Coordinate inspections and address observations raised by SIRA, consultants or clients.
• Support estimation, tendering and technical clarification for ELV and security projects.
• Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements and company quality procedures.

Required profile

• Valid or eligible SIRA Security Systems Engineer licence.
• UAE residence status or ability to transfer to the company’s visa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm or integrated security systems.
• Previous experience in Dubai and familiarity with SIRA submissions and inspections is strongly preferred.
