Site Architect

About the role

Hive is seeking a Site Architect to act as the on‑site guardian of its architectural vision for a branded residential development in Ras Al Khaimah. Working closely with the Construction Manager, the role ensures that design intent, material quality and spatial decisions are faithfully executed throughout construction.

Key responsibilities

• Review and respond to shop drawing submittals for architectural and landscape packages, issuing timely formal responses.
• Answer contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) with clear, design‑driven solutions that protect the approved package.
• Assess architectural material submittals and evaluate alternatives or substitutions against specifications.
• Evaluate vendors and subcontractors for their ability to meet Hive’s design and quality standards.
• Attend and sign off on site inspections, providing corrective direction as needed.
• Conduct regular site walks to identify deviations, non‑conformances and quality issues early.
• Lead snagging processes at project milestones, producing detailed lists and tracking resolution to completion.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably on hospitality, hotel or high‑quality branded residential projects.
• Candidates with 6–8 years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong design and construction coordination skills.
• Proactive, decisive judgment and strong ownership of design quality.
• Ability to work regularly on‑site in Ras Al Khaimah, with flexibility for a hybrid arrangement with Dubai headquarters.
