Site Coordinator – Live Event

About the role
The Site Coordinator is the main point of contact on site between B2 Connect's internal teams, its subcontractors and the client. As the first team member to arrive and the last to leave, the Site Coordinator keeps each project on schedule and on budget and makes sure it runs to the client's satisfaction. This is an opportunity for an energetic events professional to take part in some of the top sports and entertainment events in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Attend the client's daily project coordination meetings and represent B2 Connect on site.
- Update internal teams and subcontractors on schedule changes, priorities and deliverables.
- Report daily progress to the client and B2 Connect management, including completed work, open items and upcoming activities.
- Obtain access permits, work permits, gate passes and pre‑approvals needed for each day's activities.
- Ensure all staff and subcontractors have completed required health‑and‑safety training, site inductions and certifications before site access.
- Plan and sequence daily work with technical teams to optimise labour, equipment and access windows.
- Coordinate delivery, storage and security of equipment and materials on site.
- Identify and document scope variations, obtain written client approval and communicate changes for invoicing.
- Carry out daily site inspections, manage quality issues and maintain snag lists.
- Hold site safety briefings and keep method statements and risk assessments up to date.
- Maintain relationships with event agencies, production companies and contractors to support business development outside the event season.
Required profile
- Minimum three years' experience in event site coordination, production management or a comparable role.
- Proven experience coordinating large‑scale events across the full production cycle (pitch, design, load‑in, live days, load‑out).
- Strong grasp of project‑management methods such as scheduling, stakeholder management, change control and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to deal with clients, agencies, contractors and technical teams.
- High level of energy, resilience and adaptability in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
- Valid UAE driving licence.

- Project tracking tools
- IOSH or NEBOSH health‑and‑safety certification
- Understanding of ELV and network installations (cabling, WiFi, CCTV) – advantageous
