Site Engineer - Joinery and Fitout

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Site Engineer to manage the on-site installation and execution of joinery and fitout works in Dubai. The role ensures quality, safety and adherence to project schedules and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of joinery and fitout works according to approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with foremen and subcontractors on daily site activities
• Inspect completed works, identify and rectify defects and snags, and check that materials meet quality requirements
• Track progress against the schedule, report delays and propose recovery plans
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager
• Enforce health and safety rules, run toolbox talks and safety briefings, and report incidents and near-misses
• Coordinate with other trades such as MEP and civil, and manage material requests and deliveries

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design
• Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in joinery, fitout or construction
• Knowledge of joinery installation methods, materials and finishing standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites
