Site Project Management Officer (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Site Project Management Officer (PMO) will support the Project Managers and the Group Planning & Project Management Department (GPPMD) Strategy & PMO team in delivering and controlling PMO services for multiple ongoing projects in Fujairah, UAE. The role concentrates on project reporting, cost‑control, governance and data management to provide senior management with reliable portfolio visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly progress reports, monthly flash reports and executive dashboards, consolidating data from all workstreams and highlighting cross‑project interfaces.
• Track project expenditure against approved budgets, prepare cost variance analyses, support earned‑value calculations and maintain the financial control system.
• Maintain project documentation (charters, risk registers, RAID logs, interface registers) in the Document Management System and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and GPPMD guidelines.
• Update and cleanse data in the Project Portfolio Management System and SharePoint, extract information for dashboards and assist with system migrations.
• Promote PMO best practices across the department and act as an ambassador for the organisation’s values and safety standards.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering; preferably a PMO or project‑management certification such as PMI‑PMOCP or PMP.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, planning or project controls, including at least 1 year in a PMO function, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure or port projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements for project governance.
• Familiarity with project portfolio management systems and SharePoint.
