Site Subcontracts Administrator – Mechanical/Piping

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Site Subcontracts Administrator for Mechanical and Piping works to join its EPCM team in Abu Dhabi. The role is based full‑time on‑site, supporting the administration of subcontract packages and ensuring compliance with contractual and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all Mechanical and Piping subcontract packages, monitoring performance against scope, schedule, specifications, FIDIC conditions and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors to track progress, resolve interface issues and align with project KPIs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress reports, variations, claims, approvals and change orders.
• Validate variations, assess cost impacts and support dispute resolution and commercial discussions.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, planning, QA/QC and project controls to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor HSSE compliance of subcontractors and ensure safe execution of works in line with ADNOC requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in subcontract administration within the oil and gas sector, preferably on large EPCM projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC procedures, FIDIC contracts and site‑based procurement and logistics.
• Strong understanding of cost, risk and schedule management in a construction environment.
