Skilled Mason for Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join the engineering team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the resort’s facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all masonry work, including wall construction, floor work, structural repairs, and demolition as directed.
• Install, repair, and maintain wall and floor tiles, ensuring high‑quality finishes.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications, estimating material requirements accurately.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, document work orders, and maintain civil log books.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with a technical or trades certification in masonry or civil construction.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a mason, preferably in hospitality or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.

Required skills

• Masonry and wall construction techniques.
• Tile installation and repair.
• Reading shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Material estimation and inventory management.
• Safe use of general repair tools and equipment.
