Skilled Sofa Upholsterer (3 Positions)

About the role

We are seeking three skilled Sofa Upholsterers to join our Dubai-based furniture manufacturing team. The role involves both reupholstering existing pieces and upholstering newly manufactured furniture.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle sofas, chairs, beds and other upholstered items, removing old fabric carefully.
• Use the removed fabric as a template to measure, cut and prepare new fabric.
• Reupholster existing furniture while preserving original design, shape and dimensions.
• Upholster newly manufactured sofas, beds, chairs, headboards and custom pieces.
• Work with foam, padding, fabric, leather and other upholstery materials, performing stitching, stapling and finishing.
• Repair or replace worn foam and padding as needed and ensure high‑quality finishing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in sofa or furniture upholstery.
• Ability to work independently, meet production schedules and maintain a clean workspace.
• Must reside in the UAE and be available to join immediately.

Required skills

• Practical experience with fabric cutting and measuring using old fabric as a template.
• Proficiency in stitching, stapling and finishing upholstery work.
• Knowledge of foam, padding, leather and other upholstery materials.
