SOC Analyst – Cyber Defense Centre

About the role

Join the Cyber Defense Centre at ADCB as a SOC Analyst, where you will monitor, analyze and investigate security events to protect the bank’s information systems. You will work with a diverse team in a fast‑paced environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day security monitoring using SIEM and other platforms, identifying anomalies, policy violations and potential threats.
• Validate, triage and investigate alerts, correlating data from multiple sources to distinguish real incidents from false positives.
• Manage the full incident lifecycle: raise, classify, investigate, contain, remediate and document incidents.
• Conduct forensic analysis to determine scope, impact and root cause, and coordinate response actions with infrastructure, network and application teams.
• Maintain incident records, metrics, KRIs and produce regular security reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Experience with security monitoring, log analysis and incident handling in a SOC environment.
• Understanding of network topologies, TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS and endpoint protection.
• Ability to work under pressure during active incidents and maintain accurate documentation.
