Social Media & Community Management Manager – Gulf

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Social Media & Community Management Manager to lead its Gulf digital presence across UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar. The role sits at the intersection of Corporate & Government Affairs and Consumer, ensuring credible, compliant, and empathetic engagement with patients and consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Gulf social media strategy and content calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Monitor, moderate and respond to conversations in English and Arabic, maintaining compliance with medical, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Track adverse events and product complaints, reporting them within required timelines.
• Plan and deliver digital campaigns, paid media, SEO/SEM and website governance in collaboration with brand and agency partners.
• Lead social listening, analytics and audience insights, providing actionable recommendations to communication and brand teams.
• Identify and manage reputational risks, supporting crisis communications when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in social media or community management, preferably in a regulated or multinational environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite or Khoros.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical/healthcare compliance, adverse event reporting and regulatory review processes.
