Social Media Editor (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Editor to join our fast‑moving Dubai platform. You will shape the city’s online narrative by discovering trends, producing engaging content, and amplifying the best of Dubai’s lifestyle and news.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and edit short‑form and long‑form video content for all social channels.
• Write compelling captions and scripts that resonate with our audience.
• Meet daily content targets and ensure timely, accurate publishing.
• Identify trending topics, new attractions and fresh content ideas in and around Dubai.
• Align all output with the overall editorial strategy.
• Monitor user behaviour, algorithm updates and adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain and execute a social media calendar.
• Produce weekly performance reports, analyse metrics and refine tactics.
• Stay current with Dubai happenings, social media trends and platform best practices.

Required profile

• Comfortable shooting and editing videos on a smartphone.
• 2‑3 years of experience in media, digital content or a similar field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ambitious, optimistic and eager to learn new skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and deadline‑driven.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
