Social Media Executive

About the role

Independent Food Company is seeking a Social Media Executive to lead and expand its digital presence across key platforms. You will create compelling content, engage online communities, and support marketing initiatives for its portfolio of hospitality concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and publish posts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Craft engaging captions, stories, reels and other formats to drive audience interaction.
• Monitor channels, respond to comments, messages and inquiries promptly.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns aimed at brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers and marketing teams to produce high‑quality content.
• Track, analyse and report performance metrics using analytics tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity and emerging platforms.
• Manage influencer collaborations and support paid social advertising and audience targeting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in social media management and content creation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with content scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
• Experience using analytics platforms to measure social performance.
• Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
