Social Media Manager

About the role

A reputed organisation in Dubai is hiring an experienced Social Media Manager to lead its social media strategy, content planning, campaign execution and digital brand management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with organisational and marketing objectives.
• Plan and manage monthly, quarterly and annual content calendars across social media platforms.
• Oversee content creation, copywriting, publishing and community management.
• Plan and run organic and paid social campaigns to improve reach, engagement and conversions.
• Monitor performance, analyse results and prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain brand consistency and manage online reputation, escalating reputational risks when needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, creative agencies, content creators and external partners, and manage campaign budgets and agency deliverables.
• Monitor audience feedback and address sensitive issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, content or communications.
• Proven experience in social media strategy, content calendars and paid and organic campaigns.
• Experience managing agencies, vendors and multiple stakeholders.
• Corporate, B2B, government or semi-government experience highly preferred; destination marketing, real estate, technology or government-linked experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of social media analytics, reporting tools, audience engagement and performance optimisation.
• Excellent communication, copywriting, organisational and project management skills.
• Preferred: familiarity with the UAE social media landscape, Arabic, influencer management and large-scale campaign experience.
