Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will develop, create and manage social media content that boosts brand awareness, drives community engagement and supports business growth for a premium artisan bakery brand across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to design and execute platform‑specific social media strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging channels.
• Capture high‑quality photography and videography at bakery locations, events and product launches, then edit into Reels, TikToks, Stories and short‑form videos.
• Manage daily publishing, scheduling and community interaction, responding to comments, messages and reviews in a timely, brand‑aligned manner.
• Support marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, influencer collaborations and store activations, ensuring consistent yet locally relevant content.
• Monitor, analyse and report on performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimise reach, engagement and ROI.
• Work closely with chefs, bakers, store managers and other stakeholders to identify content opportunities and maintain a well‑organised digital asset library.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation or digital marketing, preferably within hospitality or consumer‑focused brands.
• Strong photography, videography and short‑form editing abilities, with a proven track record of managing Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts.
