Social Media Specialist

About the role

Huda Beauty is seeking a Social Media Specialist to shape and execute a social‑first content strategy across all platforms. You will plan, coordinate, and optimize content that supports product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments, working closely with Creative, Marketing, Community, Production, and Analytics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain weekly and monthly social content calendars aligned with business priorities and key cultural events.
• Collaborate with video editors and graphic designers to develop engaging, platform‑specific content formats.
• Partner with Analytics to review performance, identify trends, and test new formats and publishing strategies.
• Lead video optimization, including titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, lengths, and hooks tailored to platform algorithms.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Creative, and PR to ensure social plans support broader campaigns.
• Drive A/B testing of thumbnails, hooks, and video lengths to refine performance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of YouTube and Snapchat ecosystems, including algorithms and best practices.
• Experience with video optimization techniques such as metadata, thumbnails, and content formatting.
• Comfortable working with data and analytics to extract insights and influence planning.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars well ahead of deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset capable of influencing creative and marketing teams.
