Social Strategy & Planning Manager (UAE National)

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for a Social Strategy & Planning Manager (UAE National) based in Abu Dhabi. The role owns the social media strategy, planning and prioritisation across all platforms and acts as the single intake point for all social media briefs, turning business and marketing objectives into clear, structured social plans.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end social media strategy across platforms, aligned with business and marketing objectives
• Act as the single intake owner for all social media briefs from internal stakeholders
• Assess, prioritise and schedule requests against the master social media calendar
• Translate business objectives into social media plans, content priorities and platform recommendations
• Define campaign timing, platform selection and content phasing with Brand and Creative teams
• Own the social media content calendar and its planning governance
• Set always-on content cadence and volume, balance it with campaigns and activations, and monitor coverage
• Monitor performance across platforms and give optimisation recommendations
• Work with the Social Media Boosting Specialist to align paid amplification with organic strategy and oversee performance reporting
• Manage stakeholder relationships with Marketing, Brand, Partnerships, Corporate Communications, Loyalty, HR and other business units, and coordinate work across internal social media teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in social media strategy, planning or digital marketing
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
