About the role
We are seeking an experienced Social Studies Teacher to join GEMS Education in Sharjah starting March 2026. The role involves delivering History and Social Science lessons to secondary students and supporting their overall development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum.
- Collaborate with department colleagues and across school phases to enhance learning outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents, using IT tools to monitor progress.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in History or Social Science and a Bachelor of Education.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in the UAE as a Social Studies teacher.
- Experience with the CBSE curriculum is preferred.
- Successful completion of a UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
Required skills
- Strong command of English.
