Social Studies Teacher – Start August 2026

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Social Studies Teacher to join our school community starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Social Studies lessons to students, fostering critical thinking and a deep understanding of history and society.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Social Studies curriculum aligned with CBSE and UAE standards.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with department colleagues and across year groups to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Utilise educational technology and IT tools to enrich classroom experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in History or Social Science and a Bachelor of Education.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in the UAE as a Social Studies teacher.
• Experience with the CBSE curriculum is preferred.
• Creative, enthusiastic and a strong team player.
• Excellent command of English and a UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with IT and educational software.
