Social Worker – Emirati Candidates Only

About the role

A healthcare team in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified Social Worker, open only to Emirati candidates. The postholder supports patients and their families through social assessments, care coordination and access to appropriate support services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' social, emotional and family-related needs.
• Provide guidance and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Assist with referrals, care planning and access to community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow professional standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient well-being.

Required profile

• Recognized degree in Social Work or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good interpersonal and patient-support skills.
• Healthcare or clinical experience is an advantage.
• Candidates without an active DOH license may be considered, depending on the employer's requirements and licensing regulations.

What we offer

• Salary of AED 13,000 to 15,000 per month for candidates without an active DOH license.
