Soft Services Trainer

About the role

The Soft Services Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training to cleaning personnel on the correct use of tools, chemicals, machinery and cleaning methods. The role aims to raise cleaning standards across contracts, reduce re‑work and support client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly training calendars, coordinating topics, dates, times and locations with supervisors.
• Deliver training through lectures, toolbox talks, classroom sessions, demonstrations and on‑the‑job coaching.
• Assess trainee competency via written tests, practical demonstrations and performance observations, and document results in Excel and the TG Portal.
• Conduct site inspections, analyse client feedback and inspection findings, and drive continuous improvement through targeted training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of cleaning supervisory experience in a high‑end facility.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, tools and machinery.
• Ability to deliver effective training and presentations in English.
• EPT Level 3 or above.
