Software Architect

About the role

Tether.io is seeking a senior Software Architect to shape the technical foundation of its fintech and blockchain solutions. You will work remotely with a global team, designing scalable, secure architectures for products such as USDT, tokenization services, and data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve system architecture for high‑throughput, reserve‑backed token platforms.
• Collaborate closely with engineering squads to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and performance‑tuning using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Guide the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud‑native best practices.
• Document architectural decisions, patterns (C4 model, ADRs) and ensure alignment across distributed teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on software architecture experience, preferably in fintech or blockchain.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in remote, multicultural environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
