Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join a global technology leader focused on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The role is remote and ideal for new‑grad talent eager to build scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or junior‑level engineer with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to a cross‑functional team.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in e‑commerce.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
