Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS. This fully remote, full‑time position works with a global technology leader to deliver high‑quality, performant software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications with ElectronJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified during QA.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in ElectronJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience using testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
