Software Engineer – ElectronJS Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, build, and maintain desktop applications. This remote position works with a global leader in the technology and internet sector, delivering high‑quality, performant software to a wide user base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through automated testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience building desktop applications with ElectronJS.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous, event‑driven programming.
• Familiarity with Node.js and modern front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
