Software Engineer III, Frontend – Account Experience

About the role

This position sits at the core of a global payments infrastructure platform, designing intuitive, high‑performance user experiences for merchants. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of frontend initiatives that enable account setup, operational workflows, monitoring tools, and AI‑assisted merchant interactions in a remote‑first, product‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain merchant‑facing interfaces for account setup, dashboards, monitoring tools and payment‑related UI surfaces.
• Make architectural decisions, contribute to RFCs and ADRs, and guide system design discussions.
• Build composable, performant, and accessible UI components that support complex financial workflows.
• Monitor production systems, use metrics and dashboards to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain high engineering quality through clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Participate in incident response, own resolution and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine requirements and improve system design.
• Help raise frontend standards, tooling and shared architecture across the platform and mentor peers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience delivering production‑scale applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven ability to own features from scoping and design through production deployment.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimisation and scalable UI design.
• Experience building accessible, maintainable interfaces in high‑impact environments.
