About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Quality Assurance to design, develop and execute test strategies for our digital banking applications, APIs, micro‑services and web/mobile channels. The role will work closely with product owners, developers and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality releases in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and automated test suites for banking platforms.
Perform functional, integration, system, regression, API, UAT and end‑to‑end testing across web, mobile and backend services.
Validate REST APIs, micro‑services, event‑driven integrations and backend data using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI and SoapUI.
Automate tests within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and support shift‑left quality practices.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects and developers throughout the SDLC.
Track, report and manage defects to resolution while ensuring compliance with banking security, audit and regulatory requirements.
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning and release readiness assessments.

Required profile

5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years testing enterprise applications and APIs.
Background in banking, financial services, digital banking or FinTech.
Proven experience in regulated, compliance‑driven environments.
Strong understanding of API‑driven architectures and micro‑services ecosystems.

Required skills

Manual, API, integration and automation testing.
Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SoapUI.
Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, Karate.
REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD.
GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SonarQube.
BDD with Gherkin and Cucumber.
Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad) – nice to have.
Security testing (OWASP, API security) – nice to have.
Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Event Hub – nice to have.
Cloud platforms Azure or AWS – nice to have.
Mobile testing on Android and iOS – nice to have.
