About the role
A Software Support and Implementation Engineer is needed in Dubai, UAE. The role covers end-user software support, troubleshooting, system implementation and coordination with vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Provide software and application support to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and system-related issues.
- Assist with system implementation, configuration, testing and maintenance.
- Support users and coordinate with vendors on technical issues.
- Perform basic MS SQL queries and scripting.
- Assist with networking and infrastructure-related support.
Required profile
- 1-2 years of experience in IT Support, Software Support or Application Support.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and end-user support skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence; previous experience in POS systems or the retail/fuel sector is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-call and in shifts for after-hours support.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL queries.
- Understanding of networking, servers, VPNs and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with application configuration and testing.
