Solutions Architect – Hybrid & Public Cloud (Dubai)

About the role

Alibaba Cloud is looking for a Solutions Architect to drive hybrid and public cloud initiatives in Dubai. You will combine market insight, technical expertise, and customer engagement to shape cloud solutions that meet real business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to produce actionable insight reports and strategic recommendations.
• Lead customer interactions, uncover requirements, and influence decision‑making to generate new business opportunities.
• Design and deliver tailored cloud solutions—including product selection, proof‑of‑concept (POC) execution and RFP responses—to secure contracts and expand market share.
• Create best‑practice architecture templates, case studies, and training materials; mentor sales teams and partners to raise technical competence.
• Identify product improvements, drive innovation, and collaborate on new product launches and major feature development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud sales or pre‑sales roles.
• At least 2 years of technical development experience (infrastructure, software, SRE).
• Proven track record in cloud architecture design and POC testing.
• Strong knowledge of Alibaba Cloud core technologies and competitive positioning.
• Experience with Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
