Sous Chef – Delilah Supper Club

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Sous Chef for the Delilah Supper Club. The position is part of a new integrated resort slated to open in 2027 and will focus on delivering fine‑dining experiences in a high‑end supper‑club environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to culinary standards.
• Monitor resource consumption and optimise the use of equipment, ingredients, and inventory.
• Develop weekly set menus, monthly promotions and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Lead, coach and support the kitchen team to maintain high performance, productivity and teamwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and utensils in compliance with HACCP, health and safety regulations.
• Deliver high‑quality fine‑dining cuisine consistently and address guest requests and feedback promptly.
• Uphold and improve health and safety practices and perform additional duties as assigned by senior chefs.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; culinary qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fine‑dining cuisine and supper‑club operations, including cost control and pricing of ingredients and supplies.
• Proven leadership and supervisory abilities with a track record of motivating and mentoring team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff.
