Spa Attendant

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is seeking a Spa Attendant to join its spa team. The role involves maintaining the spa environment to the brand’s high standards and delivering exceptional service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Check, clean and set up all spa premises according to Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Ensure replenishment of consumables, supplies and maintain furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Report any breakage, damage or loss to spa management and coordinate repairs.
• Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment following specifications.
• Maintain spa security and safety, including locking doors after cleaning hours.
• Complete shift checklists and update communication log books.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide feedback to the team.
• Support spa reception in day‑to‑day operations as required.

Required profile

• Senior School qualification or equivalent; hotel school graduates preferred.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in a similar role at a reputable 5‑star hotel.
• Previous experience in guest services and, preferably, in the Middle East region.
• Good understanding of spa public area duties and ability to explain spa equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (intermediate minimum); Arabic desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deliver superior customer service.
