Special Education Teacher (SEN) – Immediate Start

About the role

ADNOC Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education (SEN) Teacher to join the Ruwais Campus in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and involves delivering the Massachusetts State Curriculum to students with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the needs of SEN and high‑ability learners.
• Set clear learning objectives, challenging tasks and appropriate expectations.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies, including ICT and library resources, to enhance engagement.
• Mark student work regularly, set progress targets and provide feedback.
• Prepare and present reports to parents and collaborate with colleagues on subject development.
