Specialist Audit – Operations & Support Functions (Emiratized)

About the role

The Specialist Audit role focuses on evaluating the Operations and Support Functions across the FAB Group. You will work closely with audit supervisors to ensure audits are performed efficiently, in line with internal plans, guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in auditing Operations & Support Functions across UAE and international subsidiaries.
• Ensure audit work programs are completed on schedule and report any delays.
• Promote knowledge sharing and uphold the bank’s values and ethics during audit activities.
• Monitor financial performance versus budgets and report variances.
• Execute audits according to GIA policies, guidance notes and practice notes.
• Maintain and update the Audit Universe and risk assessments for relevant process streams.
• Coordinate with other teams to achieve efficient audit coverage.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Operations & Support Functions control dynamics and risk management.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in the UAE and other jurisdictions where FAB operates.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and communicate potential audit delays.
• Commitment to promoting a value‑driven culture and ethical standards.
