Specialist Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist – UK CCT

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Specialist or Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to join a reputable healthcare facility in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves delivering anaesthetic and peri‑operative care for complex cardiac and cardiothoracic surgeries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for cardiac surgeries such as CABG, valve replacement and other high‑risk procedures.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments, evaluate cardiovascular risk and develop individualized anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general anaesthesia, advanced haemodynamic monitoring and circulatory support.
• Perform and interpret transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE/TEE) when credentialed.
• Manage intra‑operative complications including haemodynamic instability, arrhythmias and bleeding.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, perfusionists and intensive‑care teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and UK CCT in Anaesthetics.
• Specialist or Consultant classification eligibility under DHA/DOH/MOHAP.
• Current or eligible GMC registration with a Good Standing Certificate.
• Relevant fellowship or advanced training in cardiac anaesthesia.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE.

Required skills

• Peri‑operative cardiac care for high‑risk surgical patients.
