Senior Nurse

About the role

The ERADA Center for Treatment and Rehab in Dubai, a governmental entity focused on treating substance use disorders and alcohol addiction, is hiring a Senior Nurse. The nurse provides cost-effective, high-quality nursing care to patients in line with approved policies, procedures, nursing standards, professional ethics and environmental health and safety regulations. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver administrative and clinical patient care in line with the centre's policies, procedures and safety standards, maintaining clinical standards within the unit
• Act as a clinical nurse, prioritising care based on ongoing assessment of unit needs and communicating changes to treatment plans with the medical team
• Provide patient and family health education using available centre resources
• Receive, store and ensure the availability of medications and medical equipment, and report adverse drug interactions or incidents
• Collaborate with Pharmacy, Laboratory and other support services
• Accept feedback and corrective actions from the head of the nursing section or team leader to ensure patient safety
• Assist in training and guiding newly appointed nursing staff, and act as a team leader while providing direct patient care
• Communicate professionally with the direct supervisor, perform other assigned tasks, and take part in committees and task forces

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, Health Sciences Management or an equivalent field, with specialised certification in the same field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience after graduation, including 4 years in the same field
• All nationalities accepted; priority given to UAE nationals
