Specialist Consultant Gastroenterologist – UK CCT – UAE Relocation

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Specialist or Consultant Gastroenterologist with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to join a reputable healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders, performing endoscopic procedures, and delivering evidence‑based care in line with international standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, haemostasis and biopsy collection.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications and monitor disease progression.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hepatologists, surgeons, oncologists and dietitians.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and UK CCT in Gastroenterology.
• Current or eligible GMC registration with a Good Standing Certificate.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
• Demonstrated competency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE.
