Specialist Consultant Nephrologist – Australian Board – UAE Relocation

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Specialist or Consultant Nephrologist with Australian Board certification to join a reputable healthcare facility in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based renal care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including CKD, AKI, glomerulonephritis and electrolyte disorders.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients requiring renal replacement therapy such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
• Evaluate and manage patients for kidney transplantation, coordinating with transplant teams.
• Interpret renal function tests, imaging and other diagnostics to guide treatment.
• Perform or supervise renal procedures like kidney biopsies and dialysis catheter placements, when credentialed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications and monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, lifestyle, diet and dialysis options.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and Australian specialist qualification in Nephrology (e.g., FRACP).
• Relevant post‑qualification clinical experience meeting UAE licensing requirements.
• Current or eligible Australian medical registration with a Good Standing Certificate.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE.
