Specialist Drilling – Turnkey Projects

About the role

ADNOC Drilling is seeking a Specialist Drilling professional to lead lump‑sum turnkey campaigns, manage unconventional drilling and testing activities, and ensure cost‑effective execution of Biogenic Shallow Gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set and manage LSTK campaign scope, oversee unconventional drilling (UBD, MLT, multi‑stage frac) and testing activities.
• Lead Integrated Project Management teams, approve drilling programs, well plans and AFEs, and coordinate with service companies.
• Define full field development plans in collaboration with petroleum, reservoir engineers and petrophysicists.
• Monitor project cost control, rig schedule, and provide regular MIS and progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of drilling/workover engineering experience, including offshore and office roles.
• Proven leadership of drilling teams and experience with new drilling technologies.

Required skills

• Unconventional drilling techniques: UBD, MPD, CTD, ERD.
• Professional use of drilling software, preferably Landmark.
• Business planning for wells and drilling operations.
