Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves delivering prompt, effective care to patients with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and life‑threatening emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform emergency stabilization, resuscitation and life‑saving interventions.
• Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress and other critical conditions.
• Prioritize patients based on clinical urgency and ensure timely treatment.
• Coordinate with specialists, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Arrange investigations, treatment, admissions or referrals as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow established emergency care protocols.
• Contribute to patient safety initiatives and emergency department quality improvement.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Emergency Medicine (MD, DNB or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialisation experience preferred.
• Proven experience in emergency resuscitation, trauma management and acute patient care.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication and teamwork skills.
