Specialist – Financial Review

About the role

Lead detailed reviews of government spending to identify efficiency opportunities, optimise costs and generate savings through financial and operational analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned reviews from data collection through analysis, recommendations and final deliverables while coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Review budgets, actual spending, cost drivers and operational performance to pinpoint inefficiencies and improvement areas.
• Build financial models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis, and assess options to quantify potential savings and financial impact.
• Compare performance and costs across entities, sectors or peers and translate findings into clear, evidence‑based recommendations for senior management.
• Coordinate data requests, timelines and analytical workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and review analysts' work to ensure high‑quality outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualifications such as CMA, ACCA or CPA are desirable.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Only Emirati candidates will be considered.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience developing financial models.
• Ability to conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis.
