About the role
The Specialist – Gas Network will be responsible for designing, analysing and rehabilitating gas transmission and distribution networks to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation across urban and industrial systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and analyse high‑, medium‑ and low‑pressure gas pipeline systems, including trunk mains, branch lines and service connections.
- Plan and develop urban and industrial gas network layouts, expansions and pressure regulating stations.
- Perform network modelling, hydraulic analysis and pipeline integrity assessments.
- Lead rehabilitation and upgrade projects for existing networks while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in gas transmission and distribution systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent).
Required skills
- Network modelling and hydraulic analysis.
- Pipeline integrity management and ageing infrastructure assessment.
- Design of pressure regulating stations and gas pipeline systems.
