Specialist Neurosurgeon

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Neurosurgeon to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The successful candidate will work closely with senior consultants, providing expert care for trauma, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient neurosurgical cases.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Consultant Neurosurgeon in trauma and emergency on‑call services.
• Assess and manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma patients.
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including pre‑ and post‑operative management.
• Conduct routine OPD consultations and follow‑up for neurosurgical patients.
• Assist in surgical procedures and deliver peri‑operative support as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and uphold high standards of patient safety.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognized specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Eligibility for DHA Specialist licensing.
• Relevant post‑specialty experience as a Neurosurgeon.
• Experience in a busy hospital environment with exposure to emergency and trauma cases.
• Ability to manage routine OPD consultations independently.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making and communication skills.
