Specialist Ophthalmologist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Specialist Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive eye care, diagnosing a wide range of ocular conditions, and performing appropriate ophthalmic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic ophthalmic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries and procedures within scope of practice.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive eye care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and refer to subspecialists when required.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology.
• Relevant post‑qualification clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic and patient‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
